Refined Design, Bespoke Details, Historic Surroundings

Perfect for afternoon drinks, pre-dinner cocktails, or a relaxed evening, it offers a refined atmosphere where guests can unwind and enjoy a carefully curated selection of beverages.

‘Historic detail, redefined through design’

A sensitive refurbishment of The Sheridan Bar at Crewe Hall highlights the splendour of this Grade I Listed Jacobean property, built between 1615–36 for Sir Randolph Crewe. Steeped in history and architectural grandeur, the property’s ornate carvings, majestic chimney pieces and exquisite plasterwork provided the inspiration for a design that is both reverent and refined.

Our scheme introduces a bespoke bar and waitress stations, crowned with Rosso Levanto marble and framed by antique brass overbars, their warm patina complementing elegantly detailed display shelving. The carpet, echoing the historic pattern, has been reimagined in a rescaled and recoloured palette to harmonise with the interiors, while sumptuous bespoke furniture in velvet and leather ensures an effortless transition from indulgent afternoon teas to evening cocktails. Layered lighting, refined finishes and finely balanced details combine to create a lounge that feels timeless, opulent and unmistakably of its setting — a space where heritage and modern luxury meet in perfect harmony. The result is a refined and welcoming space that celebrates Crewe Hall’s historic character while enhancing its role as a destination for modern hospitality.
